The Aura Air App, when first installed, asks you for any conditions in your family that you would like Aura Air to be sensitive to, for instance if anyone has asthma or a pollen allergy.  It also makes recommendations if you state that anyone is pregnant or elderly, or if you have very young children.

You can always instantly see if your Air Filter is performing correctly.  Inside the unit there are 7 different air quality sensors, taking measurements every 10 seconds and adjusting its performance automatically, depending on the air quality detected.

It even compares both indoor and local outdoor conditions using your Post Code and a third party App called Climacell. It can tell you when it is good to open windows, or when the air pollution is bad outside and it's NOT good to go out for a run or walk!

EASY TO INSTALL AND MAINTAIN​

The surprisingly compact unit (37.5 x 37.5 x 15 cm) given its power, can be desktop, shelf, wall or ceiling mounted.  It only requires a standard mains point and is simply fixed by three screws as it only weighs 5.5kg.  Multiple Filter units throughout your home can be monitored by you whether at home or away.

​Aura Air's special patented RAY Filter cleans 60m2 (140m3) of air (assuming a ceiling height of 2.4m), 2.5 times every hour - that's a CADR of 206CFM (350m3/hour) better than many, much larger, floor standing units, but at a half to a third of the cost.

The patented Sterionizer sends positive and negative ions into the air.  Oxidants break down the protein structure of viruses and bacteria, rendering them harmless.​  Traditional Ionisers produce Ozone which can damage the lungs.

 Metallic Ions blast the pathogen preventing cell respiration and punch holes in the cell membrane/viral coating. They seek and destroy the DNA and RNA inside a bacteria or virus, preventing the mutations that create drug-resistant superbugs.
UV-C Light
UV-C light​ is well proven to inactivate micro organisms by destroying nucleic acids and disrupting their DNA with its short wavelength.  UV light with a wavelength of 200-280nm is the most germicidal​ and effective.
